HIGH SCHOOL APPLICATIONS INTRODUCTION 4.0

Taught by Phillips Exeter rising senior

This course lasts three days (from June 15th to June 17th) and lays down the fundamentals and logistics of a Private High School Application. Below is the syllabus for the topics that are covered in each class.

LESSON #1

Addresses issues such as "What are High School Applications?" "Why should I apply?" and "What do High School Applications feel like?" Talks about all of the different elements of an application: from the interview to the SSATs, to the Essays.

LESSON #2

Discusses the most important part of an application: how to stand out yet be a good fit for the school. Suggests certain activities that High Schools look favorably at and certain skills that a potential applicant would want to develop before the admissions process.

LESSON #3

Talks about where to go from now. This includes how to be a better person. All of the things a student would want to prepare for in order to be ready when admissions season starts. Offers more resources that students could pursue in order to become even more knowledgeable about applications.

FOR A GOOD CAUSE

The registration fee for the class is $60; more than half of all profits will go towards supporting good causes.
